Tommy build is "trying" to work. I hear the Volume, Treble, etc impacting the crackling garbage coming out of it. Gut shot attached. . . the resistor values seem to check out EXCEPT for R8 which is the top most resistor adjacent to Pin 8 on the IC. Its supposed to be 8K2, but it looks like 82K. Given that that is part of the "voltage divider network" that would seem to make sense that the unit is "trying" to work, but the voltages are all boogered up. I get 9.19vdc on the "upstream" side of R8 and 1.7vdc on the "downstream" side which should be my VREF value, right? That should be around 4.5vdc shouldn't it?? Any feedback would be appreciated.
