A azharkh New member Feb 23, 2019 #1 I noticed that for the Triangulum boost a BC550C transistor is required. However all I can find in stock is a BC550C A1/BC550B transistor. Can I use this instead and how easily can components be substituted? Thanks, A newbie

jjjimi84 Well-known member Feb 23, 2019 #2 Yes they will work. The difference between 550a/b/c is the gain ranges that they are in. 550a being the lowest and 550c being the highest. Transistors can be swapped as you see fit just make sure you are aware ofthe pinout
