Trim pot setting

Anyone built a Marble Drive? What are you setting the trimpots at? Is this to taste? High on the first stage then lower throughout?

I have never built this particular circuit. However I build an Episode boost and use J201 instead of the 2N5457.

Based on what I can see trim 1,2 and 3 seems to be use to bias Q1, Q2 and Q5. So use the trim pot to target 4.5 volt on leg 1 of the J201 and go from there with your ears and preference...

If you flip to the 18V setting, obviously this will be different. In my case it was not an automatic double voltage. It was more in the 7.2V than the expected 9V.

Great! I was gonna scale voltage down from my real plexi and see if that’s a good tone
Thanks for the suggestion. I wasn’t sure 4.5v was good for fets as well as fuzz face transistors
