Tweed man (Catalinbread 5F6) no gain [no pain]

Hello,

Just finished a Tweedman and having some trouble.

toggle switch in "stock bass" mode is very quiet. "lead" mode is barely unity even with gain and vol pots maxed. No signs of gain...
Treble pot is non-functioning too.
pres. trim pot works, all other pots work - except treble.

could these symptoms be connected?

smd SMMBF4393LT1G from mouser with ordinary soldering iron

reflowed solder on treble pot and transistors. - no change
alligator clipped a new pot to the bad ones leads to see if maybe the pot was bad but still no change.

happy to provide voltages or more images if asked.

Anything helps - thanks so much.

Found it - Wrong resistor value!

I don't know if anyone would believe me but i'm 99% certain the resistors I got from tayda were the wrong value. labled as 680k and were actually 47k. I'm sure of it because these were from a new order with only one missing - the one in this pedal. The 47k envelope still had 47k in there so its not like it got switched.

damn.... thats never happened to me before but glad i figured it out.
i appreciate all the suggestions - thanks!
