Ungula Fuzz - Newbie Help

Hi, few questions. The Ungula build document does not specify which watt resistor to us.
Am I safe to use 1/4w?

Has anyone who's made this PCB have any sorts of a parts list?
I've only built kits prior to this PCB purchase. I am getting a tad overwhelmed trying to order the correct components.
I did see a suggestion to swap out a few parts to make the 'cloven hoof' alternative build. That is my goal.

I've seen a few suggestions on what capacitors to get, but it doesn't ever seem to be 'use this one'.
Is that because quite a few of different caps would work interchangeably? Also why would one use carbon over metal resistors?
I've built a few kits that have a mixture of both.

Any help is extremely appreciated.

Thanks - Uncle Ray

1/4 watt is what you want, on caps pf use Ceramic or MLCC I prefer MLCC, nf to 1 uf use film or box film, 1uf and up Electrolytic 25v-35v will fit most, resistors I use metal film, if there is any mojo in carbon I can't hear it

Thank you for the the information above, this will help me out a lot.
Double thanks for the comment on resistors. If its going to tweak the tone alright, but if I have to have 20 years experience in building to hear a minimal difference, I don't care.

Just my $0.02 on resistors: Whenever I buy resistors now I always buy 1/8W. I have a ton of 1/4W from before discovering PedalPCB and I still use them, but the 1/8W fit in to the 1/4W slots and not vice-versa, so the 1/8W are more versatile. You can stand the 1/4W resistors up to fit them in the 1/8W spaces, but for me that messes up my workflow and doesn't look as nice IMO.

Actually I'm slowly transitioning that way myself, but the 1/4 watts I've been buying (think @Chuck D. Bones posted them) are the same size as 1/8 watt

Wattage doesn't matter in 99.9% of pedals*; size does matter. Some boards have the resistor pads spaced as close as 0.3" (end-to-end) and 0.1" side-to-side. For resistors to fit on those boards, their length has to be no more than 0.26" (6.6mm) to accommodate the bend radius of the leads. Their diameter has to be no more than 0.1" (2.54mm). Yes, you can stand the resistors up, but it makes it difficult for us to assist with troubleshooting so I advise against it. You can find both 1/4W and 1/8W resistors that meet these size constraints at Tayda, Mouser and DigiKey. Read the datasheets before buying to avoid unpleasant surprises.

* If your pedal contains vacuum tubes, then wattage may be critical.
