Unusual enclosures - looking for suggestions

I picked these up over the weekend. My wife actually saw them at the thrift store and said “those would be awesome cleaned up a bit”.

So, I’m thinking some kind of fuzz or a tube based pedal.

What say you?

I'd start looking at all the single-knob pedals with a switch AND just single-knob pedals, 'cause you can always throw in a mod on a switch.

The Station Wah, for example.

Could be a Bass Balls or Small Stone.

Then again, you could have a Muff with gain on a trimmer and EQ fixed with scooped/flat/bumped settings on the switch.

You could also turn that fuse-holder into a knob for a two-knobber and switch.

How 'bout a Green Ringer with Boost into Union Tube & Transistor Bumble Buzz ... ?

Really, there's so much you could do... Orange Squeezer, FV-1 one-knob reverb... Drill out the sides with some more holes for a junction box...

Maybe try for some circuit that is a tip of the hat to the enclosure's roots?

hell yeah these are fantastic!
wish i could find enclosures like those in the thrift shops around here.

all i ever really find is old tins, and then usually flip em upside down...

+1 vote for a rangemaster / treble booster - on a tagstrip ;)

also agree with @Feral Feline 's suggestion of looking at 1 knob circuits...

I've collected a lot of tins (cookie, candy etc), but not many are truly the right size and unless I use a soft-touch relay I'm sure I'll stomp 'em out of shape in no time.
