I have this NOS RadioShack output transformer in my supply stash and I’m trying to find the best use for it. I believe I got it a while ago as an extra when I built the Bobtavia circuit. Was looking to build a clone the the Death By Audio Octave Clang but I believe the transformer used there has different primary/secondary values so wondering if there may be a way to adapt some values to accommodate this transformer?
RS transformer:
Death By Audio transformer: 42TM002
Hope I’m putting this in the correct forum section, if not let me know and I can move it
RS transformer:
Frequency Range: | 300 Hz to 10 kHz |
Primary Impedance: | 1 kOhms |
Secondary Impedance: | 8 Ohms |
Death By Audio transformer: 42TM002
Frequency Range: | 300 Hz to 3.4 kHz |
Primary Impedance: | 10 kOhms |
Secondary Impedance: | 2 kOhms |
Hope I’m putting this in the correct forum section, if not let me know and I can move it
