Valhalla pot question

I was hoping someone could help with this. I can’t find 25K everse pots at my usual source. I do, however, have a handful of 50K Reverse pots. Could I use the 50k reverse in place of the 25K Reverse pots? If yes, how would that affect the pedal? These are for Deep and Presence.

I also have 100K Reverse pots as well, if that’d work.

The C50K will work, but not as well as the C25K. You won't see much difference between 7:00 and about 10:00 with the C50K. Tayda sells C20K. And in case anyone suggests it, putting a resistor in parallel with the pot won't help.

Sounds good. Will there be much of a difference between the 20k and 25k? If so, what should I expect?

The difference will be very small, there will be a little less range at very CCW end of the pot rotation. Unless you can find C25K, this is your best option. The only other choice is to use C50K and rescale all of the components around those two pots.

Actually found some on Amazon as part of an assortment kit. I’ll have to wire em up as they’re not right angle pcb. Should work though. Thanks for the help!

Make sure you have knobs that will fit the shaft: knurled vs. round, 1/4" vs. 6mm, etc.
