Vox Flat 4 Boost Pedal - 12AX7 running at 200v!

Under the the Radar!, from around 2014!
Wicked Tube powered Pedal!
I added a bit of extra Graphics with a Permanent Black Marker:

I just plugged it in for the first time in 5 years or more & it's a Great pedal!. I have WAAAY too many pedals!
It didn't fire up at first, there's a power slide switch on the back that was Off!
It has a backlight under the tube which lit up so I hit the soft click switch & the Valve took about 6 seconds to kick in!
It is super silent also!
If you want to change the tube out , just remove the smoked cover!
All the knobs are efficient to dial in just the the right sound with Level, Bass, Treble, Drive and a toggle for Mids!
There was a lack of Video's to showcase this pedal when it was released to do it justice, this one is O.K :

Just had another Half an Hour of Fun on this Vox Flat Four, Tube running at 200v off 9v power supply, It's a Fantastic pedal!
There are are some good priced units out there & I guarantee you will not be disappointed.
The PR for these when released was pathetic, hence not talked about!

I’ve got a boost pedal planned that has the same name.

The Vox tube-pedals didn’t sell well, IIRC, I remember when stores were blowing them out.

Wish I’d bought a few different models.

I think the Fuzz didn't have a Tube at all, the Straight 6 was a Vox Top Boost.
The Flat 4 is a Clean Boost all the way up to medium heavy drive with a real low noise floor!

I think of the five from that series the Flat 4, V8 and V6 all had tubes. It was just the delay and the Trike Fuzz that didn't have tubes.

Looks lovely. Have you played the others? I see them on the local buy and sell but they're still asking €150 for them..
