Does anyone know where to find a Crybaby style Wah enclosure? Small bear shows the to be discontinued, and Aliexpress is crazy on shipping! Looking for 4-5 of them.

Might be worth DMing Daier (the seller on aliexpress) seeing if they can bring down shipping costs. Doesn't always work but never hurts to try. They also might be more likely to on their AliBaba page rather than their AliExpress store

Every once in a while you can find them for like $25/each with free shipping on reverb. Honestly might be cheaper to just buy every broken Wah pedal you come across on Craigslist or Facebook marketplace. Finding Wah enclosures has been a big obstacle for me too

That’s crazy. Moding a wah pedal is what got me into this hobby a year or two ago and At that time I seen enclosures every where but I took a quick look and now they are all out of stock.... strange.

It’s has to be those damn Wah-goblins.....And they are always horking all the 1uf WIMA box caps too. And I’m pretty sure those little SOBs stole my box of parts during my move to Oregon... I can’t find it anywhere.

Yeah it’s bizarre! Unfortunately I never really needed Wah shells when they were readily available, and now I have a bunch of projects where I need them and they’re a huge pain to find, and expensive when they are available

I imagine all the stock of shells is going to manufacturers; there's crazy demand for musical instruments/accessories right now and supply chains are (to use a technical term) uber-borked. The stuff that was being sold through aliexpress/reverb was probably just overstock from the enclosure makers, and i'd guess they can't even stamp out enough of them to fulfil orders from dunlop etc.

Ya Last I looked into building a wah between inductors and the enclosure it was just cheaper to buy a Crybaby and mod it as needed.
