Delays I know of offhand that use the MN3005:
- EHX Deluxe Memory Man Big Box (and I think the 1100 tap tempo? Possibly other versions in the XO form factor)
- Supro Delay
- Chase Bliss Thermae (and probably one of the Tonal Recalls?)
- Boss DM-2 (but running at 9V)
There are definitely plenty of others, but even between those three there's a pretty wide difference in tone. Everything surrounding the BBD like the filtering and companding and stuff, as well as the number of chips used, are very impactful on the final sound and so the total design should always be considered and not just reduced down to one particular chip.
That said, the MN3005 has twice the stages of the MN3008 and so offers twice the delay time - and, more importantly in lots of designs, stays cleaner longer. That, combined with its ability to run at up to 15V for headroom, makes it a go-to choice for pretty "clean" sounding analog delays (based on demos, I'd say the Meraki falls into that camp).
