I'm curious as to what MOSFET-based op amp chip he's using, as the CA3260 of the original has been obsolete for a minute.

After watching Biran Wampler's video on the Mofetta and recently building the MOSFET Driver, I suspect that the Mofetta is basically the latter with the addition of soft clipping, a mid control and a DPDT switch to bypass the mosfets.
