Wampler tumnus diodes

I was only able to find one DIY schematic and layout for this pedal and it shows 1N4148's as the only diodes used in this pedal. Can anyone confirm if this is accurate? It just seems too cheap to be true lol

The reason I'm asking is I'm getting ready to build 2 kliche minis and as usual I'm trying to keep my part ordering "Tayda friendly" as this is part of a 17 pedal batch I'm ordering for. I know the 2 aren't the same pedal, but im gonna use the opportunity to socket diodes and try a few different things and the Tumnus seems well liked. I'm taking about the older, non-germanium tumnus obviously.

Thanks!

Pick up some BAT41's and BAT46's while you're at it.
I know this is an old thread, but if anyone else is looking at BATs - since I had ordered them before, I got a message from DigiKey that BAT41 is end of life status, not being manufactured anymore (but over 22,000 left in stock). They are low in Vf (0.4-0.5) similar to Germanium diodes and I like the sound of them clipping so I ordered 100 ($8.18). Seeing how the diode market has been, once these are out of production they will be talked about as some of the best ever  BAT46 is about the same and still in production.

Bat41's are made by a couple of mfgrs. Most common are the ST Micro (blue ones) and the Vishay (red and black).
Which ones were EOL do you recall?

STMicro

Posted about it in the EOL parts thread :(

I do like the blue, but yeah, they're out there. I got some BAT41s from Tayda once and they were orange like 914s, but had the markings for BATs. There's a reason the blue worked so well: like old Ford engine block blue, easy to see brown and black (oil leaks).
