What’s on *YOUR* workbench?

Today I modified the bridge on my Harley Benton 12 string. For some dumb reason, the bridge plate had pan head screws that prevented me from getting the bridge low enough for suitable action.

So I removed the bridge plate, countersunk the holes, and used flathead screws that sit flush

I also took the opportunity to fix the sharp fret ends and holy cow are these frets soft! They already have noticeable wear on the first 3-4 frets, and the little stewmac fret end file I was using just chewed through the metal.

I oiled the fretboard and adjusted the truss rod too, with a little backbow, hoping to get the neck pretty straight once I restring it.

After I restring, I need to adjust the pickups some more. I really want to get a set of lollar mini broilers but they cost more than the guitar itself, so I'm gonna make myself forget about them.

We can agree that they are flat-topped Philips?

What's not on my bench...

An Ibanez guitar with goofy wiring.

The two wires I reversed to get rid of the out-of-phase issue...

The expert-repair technician has reversed them again... back to how I had them originally...
