I love way they look but I hate the way you have to do the coordinates in Tayda's drill service for them. If you get some of those designs for the tubes in there and don't mind please share them. The cool thing about this is its likes carving a pumpkin. That's the way I look at it anyway.

I do all my drilling and slotting on an old manual mill, so there are no files involved. I’ll definitely share the results though.

Wrapping up two dual pedals today. I've had the @jimilee Deucetone Rat PCB for quite some time as a trade to work with @Barry on the enclosure design that we both used. I'm not happy with the Davies clone knobs for the filter pots, but didn't have anything else that worked better in stock. I put in sweep/Ruetz mod on both sides using Trimmit boards but I don't think I would bother if I could go back. This Rat is not nearly as bright as my Aion Helios build where the Sweep control really helps. The Deucetone ended up sounding really nice!
The Pro10 dual (work in progress below) is my second build of this board, but I really wanted to try the matte red finish from Tayda and I think it looks sharp for this pedal.

Finshed the Pro-10!
Here are the brother and sister. The matte green one is a 1590BB and the red is a 1590BB2 (which I prefer).

I decided no messing around this year. The PCB backlog is going to zero.
Next step in that process is drilling this mountain of enclosures.
Unfortunately I goofed the very first one. The upper LED hole for this Magnetron got one too many steps on the step bit.
This is the third time I’ve made one of these hole-correction bushings. I think it looks pretty cool, only problem now is I realize I should probably do the same thing to the other LED hole…
Next step in that process is drilling this mountain of enclosures.

Okay let me try this again. I didn't realize I was on Robert’s workbench. i thought i was here, lol.
I am excited I got one of the CS9’s going. Had to change a few caps and reflow the power connections. I had to rig a better ground setup since the board was broken around the mount screw. Its a quiet kitty now too. Also replaced a burned out led with a new flat top purple job I found at Tayda. The pic doesn't do it justice. My goal was to get one of the two going so i am a happy camper.

Don’t worry, the early warning signs are thing like:
•Building more than one of the same pedal.
•Finding yourself building something you don’t even want.
•Telling yourself “if I don’t like it I can sell it or give it away”
•buying components in ridiculous bulk quantities
•your guitar skills take a nosedive.
Just to name a few.

I gave my old bass player a nobelium last week. To be fair, he's the best bass player I ever played with. But I may have an addiction considering the parts for another one are on the way.
