What type of pot is a Trimpot?

I’m trying to build a Muroidea for a friend of mine. He wants it to have no external knobs. He suggested trimpots on the inside to save space. What type of pot is a trimpot: Logarithmic (A) Linear (B) or Reverse Log (C)?

Would it just be easier to use regular eyelet lug pots and wire them inside the PCB on the opposite side basically?

Thanks

I'd at least put an external master volume on it — the back-side, hide it amongst the jacks, no need for a knob, just carefully paint the shaft black or same colour as the enclosure (whilst being extra-careful not to get any paint inside the pot itself)...

I do understand the allure of having zero external knobs though.

Perhaps, as pricklyrobot suggested, fixed resistors for the GAIN and FILTER, but an internal trimpot for the VOL...
