Yeah, I've had a batch of SMD FETs on my bench that I've been meaning to solder to adapter boards this weekend but I guess not. I have a grounding bracelet but even with that I'm not feeling great about handling ESD sensitive parts.

As long as the outlet your running to to is actually earth grounded(doesn't hurt to check, testers are cheap and good to have) and you're not wearing spandex and polyester, you're good. Their should be little potential developed.

I'm starting to think this is all just to intentionally crash the economy so the wealthy can grab more. More foreclosed property and stocks at a discount just like the last recession.

Yep- I don’t care what political ideologies people have, implementing broad sweeping tariffs is a genuinely stupid move. Anyone who has ever studied international trade knows this. The rationale is asinine- I have a trade deficit with my barber.

Minus all the *gestures vaguely*, I’m hacked off at the Flintlock Flanger I built not passing audio. I hope to get to it this week and find a solution, but replacing the FET, a couple resistors around it, and double checking things has got me stumped. Yep, there’s a post up. Nope no pictures because my phone and this site didn’t get along.
Hopefully solution soon, otherwise it’ll sit until I can solve it.

This isn't my literal headache right now, but it surely will be in the morning: I just don't have enough time to get things done and still sleep enough to be healthy. My weekend has come and gone, it's now 1AM, I have work in 7 hours, and I haven't even done half the things I had planned to finish this weekend. Tomorrow is going to suck.

I suspect they are adding stuff about shipping/tariffs in light of our Putzhead-in-Chief's brain fart action. What a total idiot, and he clearly has surrounded himself with fools and yes-men that are unable or afraid to tell him that taking such quick and significant action is hugely damaging to the international economy. Between the tariff action as well as our truly bizarre lovefest with Putin, the US is losing so much future business by proving itself to be an unreliable business partner - look at how Canada, Europe and other companies are now reconsidering buying US defense products because they fear we might withhold/tariff/etc future sales. Make America Small Again...
