Sorry to hear that, Stick. Wishing for a miracle for you.
Sucks. First time I got it (hopefully the last) was 2 years ago, loooong after COVID was in the forefront of everyone's mind. You'll feel like crap for a few days. Enjoy slugging nyquil/dayquilI allegedly have COVID for the first time. So much for the smug moral superiority over the weak and disgusting masses for never having had it
I had an ‘86 cargo van version for like 15+ years and all my windsurfing stuff lived in it for most of each year. Super sketchy in high winds on I-84, but a great power train and it worked well for hauiling band stuff too, for sure.View attachment 101592
In Portland, OR in 2009... this WAS hip. I used to work out of a shared woodshop with a bunch of weirdo artists and at one point 4 or 5 of us were driving these. A few still had working ice machines. It could comfortably fit my trio w instruments and was capable of lugging a bunch of sheets of plywood. Super useful for a thousand dollar whip.

can be the meanest burger in the world

I moved several pianos in that thing. Spinnets, of course.
Totally, the gorge in winter was kind of terrifying in that thing. I generally left the backseat in my garage and with no weight back there the wind would send me all kinds of squirrely.I had an ‘86 for like 15+ years and all my windsurfing stuff lived in it for most of each year. I do the same. I even research the shit out of cheap stuff I shouldn't. One thing also bugs me is that if you find some junky product, you'll find 20 different "brands" of identical ones with crazy names like MEZI, FOLOPLUS, YINMIT. The vendor websites are just flooded with them making it harder to find the better items.I am the kind of person that likes to do extensive market research before making any purchase of considerable value, and am needing to make a few such purchases at the moment. It's genuinely depressing how everything on the market (in any field) is either horrifically expensive (or at least out of budget) or absolutely dogshit quality, OR BOTH (!?), or made by a company whose business practices I am not willing to support, etc. All we care about nowadays is cranking out vapid trinkets that are worth less than the materials they're made of just for the sake of a quick buck in the pockets of the 1% and upholding the delusion of infinite corporate growth. Why is it so difficult to find an affordable and decent quality product.
I'm not taking anything. Just getting by on pure spiteEnjoy slugging nyquil/dayquil

Maybe you can. I am not capableYou could always lie.
Seriously, I hate this lmao. I expect that from eBay and AliExpress but recently-ish when Amazon started to be inundated with this, I knew we were lostI do the same. After getting a runaround from the "local" (hour away) authorized repair place, I elected the mail in option. Received special packaging on August 1, sent the device on August 8. On August 14, its scheduled delivery date, it stopped getting scanned and hasn't been updated since. UPS is doing "an investigation."Google decided my phone battery doesn't need to charge anymore
Stickman and I had to go thru this when we did the Helix transaction and right about the point where it seemed all hope was lost *poof* it showed up. Hopefully same applies to you.
While on the subject of the Helix...I'm taking another look at using this in a live situation. I refuse to believe that I can't get this to translate to all the cool sounds I get at home.
