What's your current headache?

Call it a first world problem, but I hate that all keyboard/synths with fully weighted keys are 88-keys. I'm in the market for a new keys thing and since I've been playing piano about as long as I've been playing guitar I prefer weighted keys, I just don't really need 88 keys. I want something that sounds good, has keys that feel good, and still doesn't take up a ton of room. Oh well, guess I have to compromise somewhere.

Is 64 keys small enough?

64 keys is definitely small enough, and the piano-side of that looks fabulous, but it's a little light on features for what I'm looking for. I was hoping to get some more synthy stuff, sampling, arpeggiator, etc. without having to connect to an external device for it.

I've been looking at the Roland Juno D series and I just swung by guitar center to try the D8 (88-key model) over my lunch break and I loved it. I was able to sit down without having touched one before and get some really good stuff out of it, I just wish I could get all that processing power with the weighted keys into a 64-key unit. Oh well. I'd rather compromise on size than compromise on features.

Just got done shoveling 8 inches of snow off my driveway, sidewalk, and two other neighbour's driveways so #3 on the below list is on my mind.

There's a special place in hell for at least three kinds of people I know of.

1. People who don't say thank you when you hold the door for them.

2. People who leave their grocery shopping carts in the middle corner of four spaces instead of returning them/putting them in a nearby stile.

3. People who don't clear the snow off their stupid SUVs and think it's fine for highway air resistance to do the job.

Current headache: new 60 cycle hum appeared as if from nowhere. Spent the evening tracking where it came from with no luck.
I had a similar thing happen, and could not for the life of me figure out what it was. Finally discovered that is was an Ikea desklamp with one of those really cheap, flattop LED bulbs. It was unbearable when on, but still spit tons of EMI when simply plugged in. Light faders and appliances can also wreak havoc! I'm sure you know all of this stuff, but sometimes the little things are overlooked. Avoid these things at all costs:

The reason I *****THINK**** it may be my rig somewhere is it appeared suddenly. That said, thinking is not my strong suit......

I will try again tonight, no stone or outlet or light switch will go unturned.

Hope you find it! Wouldn't it be kinda funny/not funny if you spent hours looking only to find out you have tinnitus?
