I've appreciated a hard chopping trem for a long time. Don't get me wrong, the harmonic and more subtle wobbles have their place but I've had a lovepedal babyface set to square wave on my board for over a decade. I eventually replaced that with a Gristleizer but the size was a problem for me. Enter the woodpecker. It's got the chop i crave and switching it into ring mod territory is fun. I gave my first one away a while back but I felt compelled to build another to have around. Very easy build, the fet is a 5457.
