All overload is based on infinite logarithmic limits that produce low order harmonics as tubes do. The ZAMP never “clips” and for that matter vintage guitar tubes don’t either. This would involve levels of negative feedback not found in such amplifiers.

Do I want this pedal? I'm not sure yet.

Do I want to see the schematic so that I can decipher the marketing BS? Absolutely.

I tried to emoji it to make it more tongue in cheek. But honestly, the fact that you added to it just made what they wrote seem so over the top. The weird part is for once, I could actually read through and decipher their fluff.

It’s all good, friend. It’s all good. If we can’t laugh and learn along the way, then what are we doing.
 
Man I sat down with the intention of starting to trace this thing, and I just don't think I care enough to do it. It's all 0603 components and smol traces, so it's not super fun. I got like 5 components in and gave up. Maybe I'll actually plug the thing in now lol
