That's your guy. A transformer is much cheaper though.

I used 42TM013 on my builds. But if you have the Fasels already, go for it, they should work great.

I've had mixed luck with sockets on boards (apart from the really nice DIP sockets for ICs), but I may get one board as my crazy experimental board...

That’s what I used but I thought the value for those was about 1000mH? I never figured that one out.

It just needs a little mH to wah. Some is good enough to rock.

Definitely breadboard the circuit, narrow down the options to a few choices. Try those few in the socketed board... It's not something you'll gig with, if you're having problems with the sockets.

Once you find "The One" you like, then you just solder it into the socket.

There's a few other tricks to improving socket retention such as thickening the male side of things with a little extra solder dribbled on before insertion... or as simple as gaffer's tape (NOT duct-tape) or maybe painter's tape...
