Five stars. Straightforward build—and contrary to popular belief, no build docs were required. ;)

Colombo Audio Electronics are batting 2 for 2; this and the Golden Falk were greater than I expected. Lots of surprise harmonic nuances in both.

I'm glad this turned out so well because I like to save my precious relay bypass boards for keepers. And this one is definitely a keeper.

I changed “Edge” to “Ledge” because it sounds more 80s. There was some guitarist back in the 80s who wanted fans to call him "The Ledge" which has a very 80s pomposity that suits the throwback attitude of this pedal nicely.

Files
I promised I would share my files along with the build reports if anyone wants them.
IMPORTANT: The toggle switch and LED are both off-board. So only use these files if you're planning to do the same. Or modify the files first.

  • Here is the drill file.
  • Here is the graphic with the Nimbleswitch logo removed, and “LEDGE” switched back to: “EDGE.” Gloss layer included. (Extra $2 from Tayda. Remove gloss layer to save $2.)
Enjoy! Rock on. Perhaps try a color other than gloss black, because they scratch very easily.

Im digging this pedal too as a simplified rockman. It'll make you unleash 80s hard rock riffs you haven't played in a while.

I think I had one of those Rockmans for a while back in the 80s but I guess it is a different beast in pedal format going through an actual speaker instead of crappy headphones.

The Golden Falk definitely looks interesting. Would you say the Golden Falk gets close to that vintage super plexi sound?

I've never owned a real Marshall, so I can't say for sure. But this YT guy wrenched some pretty enviable tones out of it.

This. 100%. ⬆️

I haven't even added the cocked way, or any chorus or delay, and I'm playing some big wanking solos that wouldn't normally come out of me.

This pedal has already inspired a new song, which is the best gift a new pedal can bring.
