CONTEST Buddy's Contest

Here's a tiny submission: my 1-band EQ. It's built on a little PCB attached directly to a pot, essentially making it into an "active pot". It's not meant to be used on its own, but rather to be added to an existing circuit (a lowpass filter preamp for basses, in my case), enhancing it with a Bass Boost/Cut feature. Nothing revolutionary, just half of a Baxandall EQ.

Way cool. I actually just shipped a preamp with that same Bass/Resonant LPF format out to a luthier friend yesterday, it even has a similar bass pre-emphasis thing going on too. But mine has the half Bax section first, then the LPF, although I could easily swap that around.

I did get my Sheepmaster fabricated, built and works great. Already got a revision in production for a friend, should be 1590B friendly..

Trying to keep the circuits simple, I have a 1q81 ready for order, and want to do a Narrowcast and Timbreman at the same time. Makes me give mad respect to those amongst us who can do orderly traces, the Timbreman is on it's 3rd attempt and still looks like my nana's pubes.

Need to know basis, @szukalski?

:ROFLMAO: Sheep are a constant theme since I come from New Zealand. I once got a bit tipsy on a work trip with some colleagues, ended up buying a domain name on a whim and made a website that night. I figured Sheepylove is a good name as any for my pedal efforts..
Actually, I'm ok with sheep, being a Saffer. I was referring to your wiring description

Here's my nearly completed upright bass EQ pedal, as detailed upthread:

Sounded killer last night at an open mic I took it to for my friend to audition it with her URB again, both bowed and pizzicato.

And here's an always-on Gorva S90 version with a new layout that I just ordered from LMS/Amplifyfun yesterday, in the color shifting chameleon finish:

I tend to prefer side jacks for stuff built for myself (desktop vs. on floor use case), and this layout avoids having signal leads from the three modules crossing each other. These things have typically been dead quiet anyway, but I just had to try something closer to a no compromise build before I turn the page and get back to work on some other projects.

I know I’m a couple days late, but I’ve got my latest board put together and it sounds pretty cool. Somehow I got my toggle switches backwards again, not sure what’s up with that. And my trem LED is always on. And my clipping toggle isn’t changing anything. Hmm gotta figure that out. Oh well.
