20 Propositions almost done . . . .
Waiting on the right color blue knobs to arrive. Still gotta test 18 of them. Fingers (not wires) crossed.

That one uses a new quantum technology, all active circuits are integrated into the housing of the 3pdt
Awesome. That's exactly what I do- take some steel wool to it and knock the corrosion off of it and it's as good as new.His advice was to gently scour the old one and hang it up as a backup.
Stand up guy 100%.
At first he said he'd buy me a new furnace then 5 minutes later said I have to pay half or I can move out.Wait...your landlord wants you to pick up 50% of his problem???
Oh I get it. That’s exactly what I did when I made all my first set of cables for my board (had three 30 foot cables lol). My board is stereo now and has some longer runs so I’m leaning towards the thinner cable. It is regular instrument cable. I made most of them between 5-6 inches and 2 of them are from going top to bottom row so they are a little longer. I used what I did because I had it all on hand already and being top mount on all my pedals I wouldn't be saving any real estate by using the compact square plugs and smaller cable. If I had side mount jacks and needed to save space then I would go that route but this was me being cheap. 2023 is the year of using what we already have.
Yeah this is rad. Makes sense since people like the Klon for boost and ODSo, my friend wants a dual Klon. I’m using a Kliché Boost into a Mini with a Send/Return in between for some effects he wants to use. I don’t know, is this a good idea or?

I have to say that my inexact, landscape knockoff looks better (to me) in what would be the equivalent of the upside down position of the original. But maybe I'll do the unthinkable and hang it in portrait mode in a different roomThat’s pretty cool!
It’s easy for people to make jokes about the whole upside-down Mondrian situation, but it really does look so much better in the indented orientation than the upside down arrangement.
Only if the landlord splitting the gas bill.Wait...your landlord wants you to pick up 50% of his problem???
Landlords gonna landlord. I've actually had a few really good landlords over the years but overall, I shake my fist.At first he said he'd buy me a new furnace then 5 minutes later said I have to pay half or I can move out.
Unbelievably he and the lady from the real estate agency didn't seem too concerned about a gas furnace blowing up in an apartment building.
Luckily I only had to pay for a new part and labor. I have to pay every repair in full because I've been renting for 17 years.
The market is crazy here so I have to count my blessings that I can afford to live smack in the center.
I was gonna tell him to get lost and move somewhere else with my GF but she broke up with me so I'm stuck here with all my breadboards![]()
Dunno about Poland, but in Germany you just discount the rent you pay as long as this situation carries on.At first he said he'd buy me a new furnace then 5 minutes later said I have to pay half or I can move out.

I was severely underpaying so my rent got bumped up almost 150 euros a month last year. First increase in 17 years and I'm still paying at least 100 euros less than the average in my neighborhoodDunno about Poland, but in Germany you just discount the rent you pay as long as this situation carries on.
A local rental collective is also worth it's weight in fees for the legal advice alone!
Whatever that unit is in the first photo, it looks really coolYesterday was "reality check" day, as I was getting ready to ship out four new builds to their new owners. I A/B tested six bass preamp pedals and threw in a standalone HPF while I was at it. I used both passive and active basses, running into my old reliable desktop preamp, homemade power amp, and my AudioKinesis TC118 cab with an uber-revealing horn tweeter. Super fun way to kill an hour or two, I definitely learned a lot.

If I had to pick a favorite for my own wants and needs the little orange one just has that little something extra, including a really really low noise floor. But I could rock any of those builds pretty happily, and they each bring their own vibe.

I'm only seeing 10 build reports. What gives?18 of 20 boxed. I botched the Seahorse and Dark Rift enclosures, so I have them epoxy curing currently

Should I do one big build report, and let the forum request what I should demo? Or, should I be an asshole and post 20 threads in a row?![]()
It's much easier to wipe away before it has fully dried, and I bet it'd be a challenge on something like a sand texture.
It is a bit more work to get it off the sand texture, but just gotta saturate it with some alcohol for a couple seconds. I use a cotton swap to apply and work the alcohol in, and a paper towel to wipe it down. Repeat of necessary
