Guv'Nor?
Side jacks and especially that DC power jack are HEINOUS 😩

Already traced and prototype is incoming.

I haven't posted it because I don't have a name for it yet. :ROFLMAO:

My usual spitball of sobriquets ...

ARGENTATE QUARTER

STERLING FÊTE

STERLING JAMBOREE

STERLING BULLION

Sterling Quarter-Century Buoy

47 Ag

47 Ag Rave Asian — just a stupid play on aggravation and not really suitable for a British Amp Sim.

ARGENTUM IUBILAEUM — I like this one, 'cause how the hell do you pronounce "iubilaeum"? And it's "AI" for short.

ARGENTITE METAL

47 METAL OF ANTIQUITY 107.868 — silver is one of the seven metals of antiquity

ARGENTARIUS — another one I like, as it's latin for silversmith.

MSJ IN A BOTTLE or "MONOSODIUM JELUTONG" — I mean, what else can Marshall Silver Jubilee stand for?

DON’T CRY FOR ME ARGENTINO or DOGO CRY FOR ME ARGENTINO or just DOGO ARGENTINO

LONG JOHN /GRIZZLY — or just "Long John" or just "Grizzly", as the name comes from the bears' often "grizzled" or silver-tipped fur.

SILVER — plain bold and simple; Make of it what you will: "Silver" as defined by

SILVERBACK GUERRILLA — another I like. Yes, GUERRILLA not "gorilla".

It’s a triple play - solidus is another word for a slash mark. Slash played a Silver Jubilee. And his first name is Saul, which kinda sounds like Sol if you don’t think too hard. Or maybe if you do 🤔. Oh and the solidus of solder does look kinda silver so there’s that as well 😂

I got the Slash bit, but I didn't know his name is Saul.

I did think of silver-solder, as 47 Ag with its atomic weight of 107.868 "exhibits the highest electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, and reflectivity of any metal."

Alas, the solidus of the Roman Empire was a gold-coin rather than silver. Nonetheless, a solid name for the PCB.

I build a Vemuram Karen from the Drugscore trace and it's a nice chewy MIAB sound. The original is stupidly bass heavy, but I changed the input cap to remove some lows (and cleaned up the silly gain trim pot) and it does a pretty nice brown sound. Still a lot of low end (good for bass mayhaps?) but it can sing..
