That is handy. I'm usually like "I know it's in there somewhere, what was that PCB number again?"This also lets me know at a glance what o have without having to search through my pile and look up each PCB#![]()

Last AC127 on the TC-1, 73hFE.
A 40/60% ratio of bad vs good.
I was hoping more like 1 or 2 if any might be duds.
So what can I use the 2hFE (and one 1hFE) for? Diodes?

Good job! a hot air station can make you look like a pro… it’s stupid easy, it will work just fine.My first SMD job!
I sprung for a cheap hot air station and a tube of goop, so it wasn’t hard really, but it was nerve wracking. Looks like all the legs are stuck down, so hopefully it works.

No, but I'm on the east coast. Are you in Florida?
Very cool. I have a hot air rework station and some goop, but I haven't tried the SMD yet - the way part supplies are going, I'm sure it won't be long before that's going to be required. I will say that the hot air has come in handy for desoldering multi-leg components may times, and it's really the only way to get a 3PDT switch out of a board without destroying the switch. My first SMD job!
