What’s on *YOUR* workbench?

Did some kitchen table / Google Pixel phone photography today before shipping out the only offboard incarnation of my onboard compressor. The kitchen table has a darkened glass section. The photo turned out full of little white dust specs, but the default Windows Photos app did an excellent job of cleaning them up with very little effort on my part. Just point and click - > gone, repeat! Very happy with the cleaned up pic.

My first SMD job!

I sprung for a cheap hot air station and a tube of goop, so it wasn’t hard really, but it was nerve wracking. Looks like all the legs are stuck down, so hopefully it works.

Very cool. I have a hot air rework station and some goop, but I haven't tried the SMD yet - the way part supplies are going, I'm sure it won't be long before that's going to be required. I will say that the hot air has come in handy for desoldering multi-leg components may times, and it's really the only way to get a 3PDT switch out of a board without destroying the switch.

Finally, the Figbuster...much thanks to all of the members involved...I've got another iteration planned, but may require some tutorage in uncharted crafts.

Rock it before you box it? Fig fires it before he wires it. (y)

I feel like I can say this again with conviction....

Go build something! (y)
