Jackson Audio is relaunching Fulltone

My two cents: this is great! I love all the Jackson Audio products I’ve tried, and I’ve gotten great customer service from them - in contrast to the horror stories I’ve heard from people who had to deal with Mike. Having (some of) the Fulltone lineup remain in production should help curb ridiculous resale prices.

The only Fulltone stuff I've had was an OCD and a Deja Vibe mini, but they were built like tanks. I don't have a very high opinion of Mike, but a lot of people don't. I'm betting he'll come out with "new" designs for them (probably tweaked versions of old circuits like 99% of the Fulltone catalog) occasionally and sit back collecting checks with minimal involvement.

This is great for anyone who wants to sound like 1999…
ugh too true. Also, 1999 is the year I was born, and it’s interesting the only year from 1948 when the LP format was first introduced, all the way to present times, where I can’t think of a single album I like released in that year.

Edit: actually I remembered there’s one, *maybe* two I like— the Soft Bulletin by the Flaming Lips, and I’m only sorta middle of the road on Wilco’s Summerteeth (I like Wilco, but I think that album is mostly pretty boring).

Graduated HS in 98. I don’t think I listened to anything that was released around then.

Was 99 the year Santana sold his soul ?
"Smoothe" was the other punchline I was going to use before deciding to go after xtina and britbrit.

I just looked at a list of releases from 99 and even the bands I liked released records that I never ever listen to. Even the good bands sucked.

Edit: I finally thought of one, long before the Fallon gig I was way in to the Roots. They arguably peaked in 99 with this, though admittedly the only album I really listen to anymore is "Illadelph Halflife". This here is probably the fan favorite.

Eh… my experience with Mike is enough to keep me away from anything his name or brand are attached to, no matter what his level of involvement or lack thereof is.
How many versions did Fooltone make of the FOOLDRIVE before it finally had a Boost that worked seperately from the drive circuit.
I have a OCD that I got dirt cheap & It's somewhere in the back of my Cabinet gatherin' Dust
If their so Great, why is there like 4 versions of pedals he released????
