After my wife passed in 2021 I ended up $22,000 in debt with hospital bills, payments for experimental treatments which aren't covered by insurance, ambulance ride co-pay, and funeral costs. There were months I paid $450 just in interest. And even tho I had money in my 401k the money in those stocks were devalued by about 55% due to the terrible economy, so every dollar I took out was over 2 dollars in 2020. Plus I didn't want to have to pay taxes by taking that much out because I'd have to pay the taxes with more 401k money.
I took my time, came up with a plan to reduce monthly expenses, and slowly but surely paid that off $1700 a month.
I am literally floating on cloud nine, my credit card debt is ZERO
btw, the experimental treatments with a pill that costs $70 each were working for a few months, but then they didn't. The two months were worth every penny.
So from now on I will know this day 1-25 as second Christmas!!!!
And now I'm going to go put all the pots, jacks and switches on this 59 Bassman I'm building so I can start wiring this sucker UP! I can't believe how much the weight increased after adding the iron!!!! Feels like it's a pound per watt!!!!!
