Walrus does amazing work with the fv-1! Between Walrus and Red Panda, so much ground has been covered.
Only downside is remembering how to fully use the damn things. Both have alternate controls for different pots. How they get around the restriction of the FV-1s limited control input, idk. Maybe it's not fv-1?
I really want to know how Walrus manages to use the mode rotary as a secondary control. I'm guessing latching logic gates...

Microcontroller. The previous version of the Arachnid used a potentiometer (along with a microcontroller) to switch modes.
My guess is that they're using more than one FV-1 IC, like the Keeley Delay Workstation.
