Keith and BYOC is going out of business.

Best single ended OT I ever used. My little amp just died the other day and I salvaged that OT out of it for safe keeping.
I was really, really tempted, but I don’t need another guitar amp. I’m finishing up a little 6F6 SE amp right now, but already have MPS trafos installed. If I build anything else it will be a brownface Tremolux. But I’d need to sell a few to make it feasible.

Crazy. Yeah, BYOC, tonepad, and GGG were some of my formative pedal building experiences.

Seemed like it was hot shit for a while. But then...well, amp kits that were too expensive for me at the time. Mini pedals. Re-treading of ground thats been reasonably well covered. Didn't seem to be a lot of exploration or development.

Seems about right: it's been a while since it really felt like a player in the market. Which, hey, it never tried to be anything that it wasn't. Respect.

Looks like I'm building a 5E3 and a JTM45.

They ran out of stock on one of my transformers. Not sure which one as they just referenced a model number that isn't referenced on the site.

Seems like they still have a decent selection of knobs left. I just stocked up on the 1510 and 1900s that I use. Actually, those knobs were the main thing I bought from BYOC over the last few years. They always had the best price and color selection.

They do have VB-2 kits listed! Took me a while to snag one a few years ago. They always seemed to go out of stock quickly.

I don't think their knobs have metal inserts
