Keith and BYOC is going out of business.

Oh right on, that's means it'll be anytime now and understandably so. I hadn't ordered from there before so I wasn't even aware it was here in-state.

Yes it is. I still have not received any notice on the order past the 17th order. Guessing they might cancel due to no stock? Or I will be requesting a cancellation if they don’t have the transformers. The other stuff was just filler since I was ordering.

Hopefully they are just backed up from all the new orders and it will work itself out.
 
mine shipped today (actual ship, not just label creation) so just figure they got overwhelmed by the response

What a weird reply. Cussing over what? Please be civil on public forums. That strange angry behavior does not belong on this forum. People’s orders have been getting cancelled and we/I are simply curious what has gone out.

There is no ill will toward this business from myself. I am sure they are doing their best filling the likely several hundred orders that came in over the several days.

I'd tell you to complain to management but they'd probably point out that competitive pearl clutching is reserved for the troubleshooting forum.
 
I ordered on 9/19 and haven't received any updates yet. I sent a polite status check email, but no response. Anyone else still in limbo? Not a dig at BYOC, just want emotional support in case someone snagged my VB-2.
 
I ordered a bunch of knobs on 9/18, got a shipping notification email this past Saturday 9/28.

I’d imagine they’re probably just swamped with various things right now…

I was not getting much done today, so I started going through the site grabbing all of the instructions and schematics. Probably about halfway there. Probably finish it out later or tomorrow. I post them when I get it all down and organized.
 
Made a US$250 purchase with BYOC back in September and another $140 purchase a couple days later after that.


Recently got a couple emails from BYOC...

"Order #abcde was canceled at your request and your payment has been refunded."

I NEVER asked for it to be cancelled — I asked to ADD to it!


At least they gave an honest excuse for my second order being cancelled:
"Order #vwxyz was canceled because we did not have enough stock to fulfill your order and your payment has been refunded."


Refunded? When? Where?
MY CC expired after I placed the BYOC orders, and I've yet to receive a new card — so where is my $250? The $140?
Checked my PayPal and the balance reads ZERO.
[SEE EDIT BELOW TLR got my cash back]

[EDIT]Checked with my bank this morning and the refunds went through. I'd still rather have the parts; and I still want to buy a few of the dregs still on the site, but I emailed Keith & Co and am waiting for confirmation that if I order those few bits left, that my order won't get bounced again. I hate falling through the cracks.
While bummed about my orders bouncing, I still wish everyone at BYOC well in whatever new endeavours they take on...

After the pandemic, I believe it was only Kieth and like his wife or something. They literally scaled back when parts were non existent. He posted the sale was bigger than he was expecting and just got covered up. Excuses excuses, I know, just laying it out there. 👍🏻
 
That's what I figured. No ill-will towards Keith & Crew — just was mega-bummed (still am) that I wasn't getting the coveted parts and PCBs ...
