What's in the mailbox? 📬 📦

These are type I tapes, but I couldn't really find much about them so I was intrigued, and they were cheap enough used that I couldn't pass it up.

Don't worry, they came with Greensleeves.

Seriously, though, what's with all the Greensleeves? 😂

It's a minor key Christmas carol that's originally about banging in a field. What's not to love?

Got some of those as well. All/most were very low hfe, iirc and they are damn tiny. Figure I may give them a run as diodes at some point.
you must've given me all your good ones :ROFLMAO: I suppose 100-140 are good FF fodder, at least according to electrosmash

Those GT346As though …highest β I got on the MK was 17 😬

Yep. Was mistaken. Had to dig them out.

Bought these pre-dca. Maybe they confused the tc-1. Some Ge seemed to do so. Cool!
All good :)

My T/TC tools never do Ge transistors; they're shown as diodes or bad parts. That crap MK-168 I bought at least tells me if they work and beta relative to whatever test current it's putting out. With my ss parts it measures beta about 80.2% of my T7 if that means anything.

If I wanted to be pedantic with them, I'd set up a Keen tester on the bb.

Add far as what's in my mailbox, got some new PLA filament (finally trashed the garbage stuff I had sitting around) and have been testing it on another set of sockets. Gonna do some taller versions.

Aliexpress frame. I believe the company is Tantan Cycling. The frame looks similar to other bikes offered by Trek, Cannondale, Cervalo, Specialized, etc. I understand they all have their bikes made in China now.
One of my pals swears by Aliexpress carbon wheels and owns multiple sets. I'm more of a "reject modernity" kind of person, so I stick to metal, but his deep dish carbon wheels sure look nice to me.

How much did you pay for this if you dont mind me asking.

That's what it looks like to me :
