What’s on *YOUR* workbench?

Had a fat fire burn off my seasoning on my komodo grill a few weeks back. Took a wire brush then some 120 grit flapper sanding discs to the cast iron grate, oiling as I went to keep if from oxidizing. Should have done it from day one. After some grape seed oil seasoning, burger slid on and off like nothing last night.
I can actually wipe over the entire grate with a oiled paper towel and it doesn't tear in the least. Definitely worth getting covered head to toe in carbon and oil

So where are you relocating the cabinet to?

Behind a hinged bookcase is a classic...

Fixing a closet but first thing first get rid of the hillbilly contraband cabinet … it’s going to be interesting trying to correct some of the many “remodeling” atrocities that have been committed just in this room.
Wait! don't throw it out yet! Hear me out.... lay that sum' bitch down and drill the door so you can mount a couple 15 or 20 pcbs dirrrrectly to the door and you got yerself pedalboard with easy access for swapping out pcbs.

Was that cabinet intended as a kind of safe? Doesn't look pretty sturdy to me.
Yeah it was a “safe “ for whatever every screw holding it in was stripped, it was installed upside down, the key was snapped off in the lock( probably because the cabinet was upside down any they kept turning the key the wrong way.🤣) then drilled out. The whole thing was just garbage.

Tascam rack-mount 4-track. I've been using one of these for a while, and I picked up this second one cheap enough that I'd be happy to have it for parts even if I couldn't get it going.

Replaced all the rubber parts yesterday and got the transport moving nicely, but went to bed sad because I could only get sound out of two of the channels.

Back at it today, and de-oxit in a couple molex connectors got all 4 meters moving!
