For the RANT pedal, did you use anything more than just the WHITE layer?View attachment 102381
A bunch of enclosures and components from Tayda.
It looks great from here

Too bad the amount of boards is wrong...
Warmoth had a garage sale this morning of super discounted necks. $100 plus shipping got me three necks:

- a Precision neck with black blocks and stainless frets. Exactly the specs I’ve been wanting to order a neck with for the past few years, minus binding (but for $30 I couldn’t really expect ALL of the specs I wanted). Discounted because of some black sawdust caught in the wood grain. I bet I can get it out though before I finish it.

- a solid ziricote strat neck. Discounted because the dot inlays are ever so slightly off center.

- roasted maple Strat neck with ebony board and stainless frets. Discounted because of the slight tapering error visible right around the 9th fret on the treble side of the board.
Not the mailbox, instead a local estate sale. Walked in during the last 15 minutes.Via HeavyMetal FX, which had good discounts. Dunwich DA-120 (Matamp GT120) and Bajaman's Ampeg SVT. Without import duties... (No idea why!), and shipment costs similar to stuff within the EU.

Great wood (phrasing), that's gonna be beautiful when it's done.Necks came a day or two ago. The ziricote neck in particular is gorgeous. Gonna go with this walnut strat body I’ve been holding onto for ages. I’m thinking maybe a wide-bevel 5-ply B/W/B/W/B pick guard or maybe the vintage tortoise that WD has (mint instead of white, thinline for the black ply).
Looking to do a tele pickup with white fiber flatworm in the bridge position, and looking for suggestions for neck and middle. I’ve got my favorites, but I’m looking to shake things up a bit and try something a bit different.
Also looking for bridge suggestions— the vegatrem seems like a fan favorite but I honestly think it’s too ugly. Thinking maybe the something from the Gotoh EV510 series, but the Floyd Rose Rail Tail seems like a possibility too.

Hi, sorta new to this forum thing, I’m slowly collecting parts for this build, would you mind sharing which pots did you use? Will the alpha style long leg pcb pots be adequate not to mess up the height for the rotary?Well, they work. Sorta.
But it looks like the pitch is actually closer to 3.81mm.
I was able to bend the leads on these and get em to go in.
It's not perfect, but it'll work. Honestly, if I had a mouser cart put together I'd add three of these:

Would ya believe that I never finished it?Hi, sorta new to this forum thing, I’m slowly collecting parts for this build, would you mind sharing which pots did you use? Will the alpha style long leg pcb pots be adequate not to mess up the height for the rotary?
Your build looks very clean, hope mine turns out like it.![]()
This kind of thing has bit me before. What I do now Is put the pots and rotary and switches in the enclosure (or rather a custom jig I laser cut - happy to send a link to the file), then fit the PCB on top and spot solder them so they don’t move. Then I can finish soldering out of the enclosure (or I keep it in the jig).Hi, sorta new to this forum thing, I’m slowly collecting parts for this build, would you mind sharing which pots did you use? Mounting everything in the enclosure and soldering in the box isn't quite as slick as the custom jig route, but it serves the same purpose. Particularly if you're hand drilling, lining everything up where the holes are instead of where they were supposed to be might even be better. This kind of thing has bit me before.
