Any new concerts you're looking forward to (formerly 2023 concerts)

I was at the train station about to get on the train to the city, but got off at the last second. Bailing on Belew and Harrison tonight. Really bummed about it, but the weather is terrible and I don’t wanna risk getting stuck at Penn station if the flooding makes them halt the trains tonight. Gutted, but I’ve seen them do this show twice already so it’s not the end of the world. Still, in 2023 and 2024 it was probably the best show I’ve seen of the year.

If any of yall are in the city and wanna see Adrian Belew and Jerry Harrison doing Talking Heads stuff at Webster Hall, hit me up. I’ve got 2 tix— paid $130 for the pair after fees and everything. I have them listed on the resale sites, but I’ll let them go to any of y’all for $80 for the pair or make me an offer (money, parts, whatever)— just want them going to someone who will enjoy more than anything else.
Dang, if I had seen this earlier and also didn't have to take care of the kids (!) I totally would have taken you up on the offer!

If anyone is in NYC tonight I have two tix to lost 80s live (flock of seagulls, Big Country, The Vapors, etc) at Pier 17 that I’m not gonna use and it’s too close to showtime to list on StubHub or anything. I’m not asking for anything— I’m losing the money either way, so I’m happy to see em go to use.

We are in Spain and Portugal first part of next month. Had I known they were playing in Madrid later in the month, I would have 100% booked the trip then!

VERY Jealous!
I managed to get one (1) ticket for the Radiohead tour in November in my city
I had to try for more than an hour, so many people trying

You had the very high risk of not being able to get tickets
First you had to sign up to get a code, get randomly selected, then if you got a code get into the queue were you were randomly placed. I was around 30k in the queue and when I got in couldn't get a ticket as the site was obviously struggling, so even if the tickets were apparently available and each code could buy up to 4 tickets, it wasn't working
I wanted to buy 4 standing tickets for me and friends, I ended up only buying 1 seated as that's all I was able to buy

100%

That said, I am dumb enough to spend all the money with a scalper to see them again. Stay in a tent for the trip rather than a hotel if I had to.

Nice- I was able to catch them on the Hail to the Thief and The King of Limbs tours. The TKOL one had an incredible visual display with an array of giant screens that could independently move into various 3-D configurations.

Saw Phish once, in the year 2000. I definitely should have not split that 10-strip with my friend! Mike Gordon turned into a robot 20-minutes in and then I wasn’t even on the same dimensional plane as the concert.

I did see Trey perform solo acoustic recently- I was pleasantly surprised, it was a good show.

I was able to catch one of the acoustic shows in bama and it was incredible

I only saw them in 2003 during the kid a - amnesiac tour, then for one reason or the other I always missed them.
Very much looking forward to it even if the tickets were very expensive and I have to go alone
