Where ist thou thine Duesenburg!? Where ist thou thine Filter’trons!? The Lord will not hear thine praise unless lifted up upon a PRS or Nash through strymon and a KOT! I kid of course….sort of more commentary on worship guitar culture than your rig. A ToneX and a Stomp?
Right? Not even running the kilt and morning glory combo… I have to admit the big sky and timeline are a must for my setup… I would have a hard time nailing the parts without it… yeah no big guitars with bigsbys and multi thousand dollar cork sniffer amps for me… Some worship guitar guys make me laugh… My rig is very modest and sounds incredible in a big room.. Using Amalgam captures of Fender Blackface Deluxe for my amps… Always on is a Rangemaster and Mahayana. I actually use the Dung Beetle for my heavy drive.. I have the gain turned all the way down and have it biased really tight and not super fuzzy.Where ist thou thine Duesenburg!? Where ist thou thine Filter’trons!? My tone is more centered on Skynard Circa 1979…. With a touch of Garcia..,
Dig it… I play the mandolin in a service here and there when they bust out an old traditional bluegrass kinda tune as an opener… I gigged for a little over 10 years playing mandolin in a bluegrass band here in Georgia..View attachment 105434
@swelchy This is my Sunday rig. Gets me where I want to be with a multitude of different guitars/pickups, as well as, a lapsteel and mandolin on occasion. I’m not trying to exactly replicate any particular tone. Got the Thumbsucker->Mercurial->Blue Steel->Tommy III->TR-2->Quilter, then the Nova repeater and Spirit Box in the fx loop.
Totally man… Do your thing.. I’m not a judgmental prick nor is the house of worship I attend. I’m not here to push myself or belief on anyone. As long as people are good humans I’m down with anyone. I’m trying my best to be one myself..I was raised as a devout Catholic and in my teens was born again as an atheist. Y'all do you in your worship groups![]()
My "RIG". We have my work station, amps, CNC, Laser machine, Amps, Stereo, 3D Printer, my boys Wayne and Garth, and mini fridge. Not seen are my other guitars I've built. This is my special space where I get to unwind and build, relax. Soon to be our master bedroom tho![]()

Pedalboard is out of control so I've started auditioning on the small stool and into the fx loop of the deluxe 85 for a nice flat check.

The rack...SSL 18 using a focusrite Octopre dynamic and a motu 896HD for expansion. A WA 312 mkii for an API pre flavor and then the venerable ART tube comp inserted on the first two channels of the SSL. And finally my KVM switch because m4pro for A/V, PC for gaming, old MacBook Pro for internet shenanigans and a thin client for the magicjack.
