This is my third build of the circuit. My first was built to n00b construction specs, the 2nd as exercise in point-to-point, and this one is customized to fit into the design language I’m developing on my pedalboard.

The TONE knob felt useless to be, so I ditched it. I felt sure that I didn’t need to jumper the pot or the cap, but when I first boxed it up I was getting wild squealing. It was a hail mary to avoid unboxing. But I did take it out, and it was just a bad ground connection from the power jack.

As far as the circuit itself- this is one of my all-time favorites. I like my tone to be wild, like I’m taming an animal. This is definitely one of those pedals where you can “ride” the chaos.

Great colors + I'm a sucker for clean diagonals in any design scenario! This is next in my latest batch of boards from Robert and I too love the wildness of the little PLL I've tasted so far. Extra stoked now 👍🏻

Looks dope.

Weirdly I remember my tone knob on my actual EF Guitardammerung being fairly interactive, but when @Robert was making this board, he asked me to verify some stuff against the one I have. It made me realize that even on the original, the tone control kinda does nothing.

Thank you!

Yeah, it seems like it gets dark fully CCW, and anything CW from that is full range.

So I should try this out once I start populating my board, is what I'm hearing here.

Just to be sure I'm picking up what you're putting down: are the respective lugs still soldered to their holes and then connected by an additional wire? Or are the lugs lifted and then connected by said wire?

The Volume and Intensity are kept in there original positions, and then I mounted the Speed pot in-between them and ran wire.
