NAMM hangover is a rough one. You need a vacation from it.Nothing like taking a week off to remind you how much you enjoy not being at work. Back in this morning. Yuck.

Doesn't Yamaha own them now?Just got an email with a cease and desist letter from a big corporation, so now I'm scrubbing both of my websites to get rid of everything they mentioned and anything that could potentially be called out in the future. Next I get to go through all my social media and make sure I don't explicitly use their trademarks in such a way that imply affiliation.
But Ampeg knows I exist now, so I guess I've got that going for me. I'll probably print out the C&D and frame it.
EDIT: just realized some of my build docs also use trademarked names in their descriptions, so I guess I'm updating all my builds docs now.
Yup, so the letter came from Yamaha Corp legal department, but it was in regards to my use of Ampeg trademarks in my product descriptions and marketing.Doesn't Yamaha own them now?
Nice work!
#moodI kinda hate my job, and it's nice to have a little time off, but I need income.
Pbth. Racist.Sticks don't have feet. Still, sometimes rest is all we need.
*Eyes a syringe I had for measuring fluids in hydronic loops and some leftover hypodermic needles from when I built my coil winding machine*Be well stick. Had a similar thing happen with my knee a number of years back. Drained out an unfathomable amount of fluid. Don't know the cause but it hasn't been a problem since.
Not calling out people who actually use trucks for work, but honest question; why do so many pickup drivers lose their minds when they get honked at or flipped off
