Nobelium Builds Stripping Threads

Hi all. I have built 6 Nobelium pre amps so far, I love the way they sound, and they are a very solid build. The only issue I have been running into is the threads on the power jack strip and make the connector loose. This has happened on at least 3 builds. I tried not tightening them as much, but then they are too loose to stay on. I feel like it has something to do with the plastic threads that also do not wrap all the way around the jack, they are flat on the top and bottom. I have tried searching for other more robust threaded jacks, but all the positive ring jacks I have found look very similar. Is there a trick I'm not doing? Or have I not searched enough for alternatives? This has also happened on a couple of the volume pots, I noticed they are made out or a pretty soft metal. Thanks so much for you help! I appreciate it! I have been lurking here while I make my builds, this is the first time I couldn't find an answer by searching.

These look great! I like that the threads go all the way around, I'm going to order some now. Is Lumberg a known "good" brand? Do you think they make pots too that could help with those stripping? Thank you for your great response!

Lumberg makes jacks, no pots that I know of
If you are stripping threads on 16mm pots, you are going way too hard on them. They shouldn't be that tight
So far it has only happened to one pot, on a unit that I sold. Maybe the person that bought it did something to it, not sure. I'm just trying to prevent it from happening again. When I did my first build I noticed the top label plate made the case too tall for the nut on the pot to catch a thread, so I got rid on the label plate and started using custom stickers for labeling. There was enough room to catch a thread after that, but it still doesn't seem optimal. Should I maybe try thinning the case underneath where the pots mount? Or are there pots with more threads I could be getting? Thanks again! I'm attaching a photo of one just in case.
