Rotten Apple making a clicking sound

Had this one sitting around to build and decided while waiting for other parts to make this one.

Only audible sound is a ticking or clicking noise coming through when engaged. Everything seems to be soldered well and proper orientation.

I assume this has to be something related to power because I get a really low level background click through the amp when hooked to power and the circuit bypassed.

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance

The 13700 looks different than all I’ve ever had. What was your source. Assuming the the above isnt the issue, i believe these get faked
Stomp Box Parts. Never had issues with them on anything. DigiKey, Tayda, StompBox and Pedal PCB are the only ones I buy parts from.

It was my power. Connected it backwards the night before when inwas up late working on It

Looks like a Poison apple.
You are the winner. I just posted thi while on break at work and could troubleshoot when I got home. Your comment saved me for sure. I assumed it had to be power issue with the ticking noise going away when I disconnected the leads off the breadboard. I hadn't made that mistake in a LONG time

Yeah it made me decide to revisit my disaster transport Jr that was giving me issues. Fixed the problem in 5 min. Placed a 100n resistor where it was supposed to be 100p and put a 200n in place of a couple 100n because my parts bin dividers suck and got complacent when building it. Now to fix my Ceasar chorus that has been sitting for 2 months
