modify the chorus waveform

I'm new to the whole DIY scene, and after building a few fuzz pedals, I wanted to make an Arion Chorus with a switch to change the waveform, but I've hit a wall. Can anyone help me out?
 
Integrator opamps take square waves and make them triangle.

Lowpassing square wave approximates sine.

Hard clipping sine approximates square wave.

Electric druid makes an LFO IC PDIP8.

Low passing squares (or even triangles) approximates sine but only over a very small range, the ol' OTA distortion trick is probably the simplest reliable method but that's still not exactly a simple mod.

Soft diode clipping triangles can get you quite sine-ish, you'll need to boost the gain back up afterwards to retain the full sweep width though... but it can still be okay without, if you want to add it to an existing board that's probably the best route.

If you tap off the square from the LFO you'll probably need to use a voltage divider to keep it within a reasonable voltage swing.

An oscilloscope is practically a must.
 
Thanks, I'll give it a try. What I was trying to do was use anti-parallel diodes to generate a sine wave upon activation, allowing me to switch between a triangular wave and a sine wave.
