So, after soldering my 16 pin socket. I discovered that I ordered the smd ones by mistake and had to remove it. The being said, I lifted a pad. Trying to determine best way to fix it. Or if i even need to. One side has a pad. I don’t see a trace going to the pin. But I don’t want to finish populating the Board until I know, what the best course of action is

It’s on the bottom row of the parallel lines of 8. 3rd from the right. Board is the bottom board of the VIIB.

Any recommendations would be welcome.

This was the board that made me say eff it, I’m orderering a desoldering station.

Thanks

This looks like pin 3 of IC7. The graphic of the board on the pedalpcb website shows this pin connected to pin 4 on the top of the board. No idea if there are any traces on the bottom, and no idea if either of these pins connect elsewhere. Have a look at the top side though - you should be able to see the trace joining pin 3 to pin 4. If so, then just make sure with a multimeter that these pins are joined once you have soldered in the socket or IC. If not then just run a solder bridge between the pins. What type of IC is it? That may give us some idea about how it is likely to be connected.
