The price difference could be because when you buy more than 5 enclosures the price drops from 8.90 to 7.90
The only shipping options I have from Tayda are DHL or UPS, both with taxes paid but UPS is way costlier
In general though you're right, if ordering more stuff Tayda is surely cheaper...
Is it though?
For me, 5 plain 125b from Tayda are 27.45+32.64 shipping to Italy, total $60.09 (€52.44)
The same from Musikding is €39.50+6.90 shipping, for a total of €46.40
I had one and many of the crazier sounds in the demo are quite similar. It is a delay with a very flexible LFO section, the wave can be applied to delay time or feedback, creating some crazy stuff
Same! When I will feel adventurous there are some good articles about it
I have an AliExpress T7 tester that can read Jfets but I haven't fully understood how to
I mean it sounds good, but it's not as fuzzy or as gated as it gets in most of the demos I've heard.
Have you tried tracing your original to see if there's any difference?
There's an interesting discussion over on Diystompboxes (https://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=134324.0)...
Well I've been playing my pedal a little more and it has considerably less gain than the demos I've been hearing
I'll need to open it up and measure the j201s I've used
hey @moosapotamus
I've been tryin to wrap my head around adding the shape switch to a Phase II build
I checked the Lola and the Duo Phase schematic, but I'm not the best at that
I can see that SHAPE_B adds a 2u2 cap to ground but I can't understand where to add it
Also you mention "a resistor...
Another very cool effect here. Plenty has been said about this delay, I like it a lot but to be honest I prefer the good old PT2399
I added the inevitable oscillation footswitch that maxes out the feedback, with the external control for ramp speed. I also added a knob in place of TR1, so I can...
Straightforward build of a Chaos Machine PCB
Very interesting pedal, I especially like it in front of dirt. is it a phaser? is it a wah? I dunno but I like it
I added EXP jacks but haven't really been able to use those much. No bleed for me, maybe I'm lucky.
Clear inkjet waterslide, graphic done...
Have you calibrated the trimmer for the cleanest possible sound?
Another suggested fix is lifting pin 6 of IC3 but that might not do anything depending on your brand of IC
