Hey I jsut finished putting together the Low Tide Modulator and got only minor reaction to the turning of the poties with no signal. What I found weird is also that Musikding didn't supply a the Q1 position transisotr the 2SK208-Y but I also saw in a random photo of another build that it is not...

I want to go for the 'turnning out a ciggarrete on teh floor movement'.. what lugs of the pot should I solder to the stereo jack ?`and I see its recommended...

Hi I find it could be interesting to have the control Potentiometer soldered with a switching jack which would be expression pedal to control the pedal with the foot. Could anyone help with a little wiring scheme to explain how this could be done ? thanks!

Yes i understand but what would be the switch toggling between? dry + wet signal OR only wet signal? Ans so i asked with a switch - to what position does the other lug connect to? The R11 position of board? Thanks

thanks for the input not sure I got you though. You suggesting 2 options to do that, have I got it right ? and excuse me as I am a returning pedal builder and all the 'hands on' know how is rusty 1. lift one leg of R11 and connect it to a SPDT (the one that got 3 lugs Im assuming ?), one end...

perfect. Ill try to do another video of how it sounds like. very nice. I do totally get waht you mean though with PT2399 is rather dirty signal. I think I will simply build another one where the IC is the HT chip. Would be awesome to have a mod where you can toggle between the 2. but I guess...

SPDT - those with 3 lugs right ? so one side just connected to pin 8, the middle lug to the board and the other side of the switch not connected - right ?

thanks for all the tips! and I assume the echo chip can simply be replaced (HT instead of PT) in the same position without any further adjustments to the PCB right ? simply pop in and out and see which sounds better to my taste ? I dont know which LDR I am using no, and now - since it's built...

ok so by lifted pin 1 & 8 of the 386n IC - I assume you omit the op-amp part which makes it fuzz (not clean) ? I think I now see it clearly from your gut photo (not sure though, could be an optical illusion..) im slowly getting back to my knowledge of pedal building.. its been some years off :)

one more question about the LDR - how can I tell which resistance values does my LDR ranges from ? the build notes and bill of materials doesn't say which tape of LDR is recommended to be used.
