Hi all,
I just got these 1N34A diodes for a fuzzy fox build but there is no markings on the glass. Any diode experts out there that can help me get these oriented?
Hi all. I got some 2N3565 that @Robert has for sale on the site and want to get confirmation that flat edge should go at 4:30 where a tab is printed on the board?
TIA
Thank you @PJS. The first time I measured the ICs i held the back probe to a bare part of the case but this time I pressed to the negative terminal of the DC power and got different results:

I just finished this one up and unfortunately I'm getting no sound when engaged. In bypass it works perfectly. All four LEDs light up, although only the ON/OFF indicator turns off when bypassed, the other three continue to throb. Here are the voltages from the 2 ICs:

Thank you every one for your help and suggestions. I put together a diagram, trying to incorporating insulated jacks into a jfet buffer spiltting into two signal buffer/inverters. How does this look?
Alright, I think I can piece this together, but have one more question; If I'm only going to include one phase reversal should it be on the same or opposite channel as the ground lift?
Thanks. I don't think I've used an isolated jack before and when I searched Tayda for isolated jacks nothing came up. What makes them different and do you have a link you could share?
I'm taking another look at this idea:
1) @Robert can you confirm if the Signal Buffer/Inverter has an input buffer? If not could I use the simple JFET buffer or is there a better way to do?
2) It looks like this transformer is what other have used, but I don't under stand how to integrate it...
Finished these two projects over the weekend.
The Paragon Mini gave me a little bit of trouble, but was worth it because I improved my debugging skills. Both sound great. I socket R3 and R20 so I could change the gain levels. I have a 1K resistor in channel 1 played with a couple of values in...
A few more details I subbed the MA856 with BASS33. I reflowed all my caps I checked for continuity (there was none). I measured the voltage drop on all the diodes which were all about 0.6 or 0.7 V except D1 and D6 were both about 2.1 V.
