When I check continuity between tips of the jacks it seems like it’s 50/50. Checking the sleeves it’s 100%. It seems to be, in my untrained opinion, grounding somewhere but I cannot for the life of me figure out why or where.
I'm using this wiring diagram to build a 2 looper (instead of 4) with master bypass and I'm hoping to use the 3PDT order switch but I'm not quite sure how to wire it up. I'd also like an LED to indicate when they're reversed if possible.
Can anyone help me here?
It's my birthday if that does...
If I'm using the spdt toggle instead of a rotary clipping switch and therefor omitting diodes D8 & D9 as per the build documents, do I have to add a jumper in their places?
As always thank you for dealing with my noobedness.
I'm putting a couple carts together to build the procrastinator and the special overdrive and my questions are
procrastinator - what the heck is a "5v6" diode and where can I find one?
&
special overdrive - what kind of spdt switch do I need? on/on? on/off/on? etc
Thank you for tolerating my...
I can’t find anything as to a layout of the knob functions anywhere? The big three (vol, tone & gain) are easy to finger but the other 3 idk. Is the 2 position switch up-silicon down- germanium? And where do I begin naming the positions of the rotary switch...
I was really just hoping to add the ability to switch to see what it sounds like but what you’re saying makes perfect sense and is plenty of reason to leave it out on this one. Thank you!
I’d like to put one of these into a fuzz foundry deluxe build I’m about to get started on and I was wondering if someone could tell me if it’s compatible with that circuit and what kind of switch I will need to make it switchable?
