    Magnetron Delay

It definitely took a while to get the process dialed in and controllable. I’ve never used a real rivet gun. It makes sense they would be more controllable. If I run an in-line regulator and dial the pressure way down I can get it to the point where I can get a repeatable number of hits on a...

    Magnetron Delay

I’ve gone through a few boxes of this 22ga solid core from Amazon. They were out last time I tried to order and I got some Remington stuff. Haven’t tried it yet though. I definitely prefer working with solid core.

Thanks! I attach the plates with solid aluminum rivets. Pop rivets would also work, but the look of the solid ones is a better match for the look of old machine tags. I modified this air hammer bit with a ball nose end mill to hammer the rivets from the head-end. The other end of the...

Help Me With a Bluetooth Project

I definitely didn't mean to try and talk you out of it! It would have never even occurred to me to try and DIY something like that. Very interested to hear how that project works out for you. I spend so much time thinking about DIY 1960s pedal tech, I forget there are all kinds of cool modern...

Help Me With a Bluetooth Project

I've got nothing useful for you, but I've watched a few reviews of these Fosi ZD3s lately, and have been thinking about getting one as a way to stream audio to one of several ancient stereo rigs. I'll be interested to see if you can accomplish the same thing for $3 including an amp...

    9mm Potentiometer support tabs?

I thought we were talking about the little locator pin on the shaft side of the pot. Just realized you're talking about these. I did one project where those needed to be removed. I just bent them back and forth with pliers until they snapped off. I probably wouldn't subject a pair of cutters...

    9mm Potentiometer support tabs?

They’re a little harder to get a hold of compared to the ones on 16mm pots, but you can snap em off with a good set of pliers.

    Zonk machine!

What did you use for transistors? And why no gut shots?! I've got a PPCB Zonk board in the backlog somewhere...

Tommy III no sound but light works any advice helps.

Check R5 and R8 Color bands are tricky in photos sometimes, but it kinda looks like you've got a 1.8k in R5 and 8.2R in R8.

    Beholder lag

If I crank the fuzz on mine it starts to do the gated fuzz thing. Is that what you’re talking about? Any way you can post what it sounds like?

    Kliche issue

Post some pictures. How long did it/ does it work before it craps out? Does your power supply work fine on other pedals?

    Overdrive with 2N5088 and TL072?

Just build the next pedal you want! If you’re gonna spend like 15 bucks on an enclosure, footswitch, jacks, pots, knobs +possibly buying a pcb, don’t let 75 cents worth of spare parts make the decision for you on what to build.

I found that one too! Pretty sweet.
