    Scabbard

Thanks for that tip! I had a feeling I was missing something simple. I have a few alphabet templates, but the fonts are pretty much identical. I can adjust the size and the slant, and once in a while I’ll throw in some lowercase, but I usually stick with the same small uppercase for everything.

    Scabbard

Don’t pretend to be interested! 🤣 It’s based on an EAE dagger, and I like it a lot. Bright-ish overdrive, lots of gain, tone controls are shelf eqs which is interesting. My taste in drive pedals is pretty irrational and inconsistent, but this one grabbed me right away. Probably some...

    Scabbard

I grabbed this one out of the pile just because I liked the sparkly green enclosure, but it also sounds great! I upgraded to a slightly less ancient iphone recently and it sure doesn't like taking pictures up close. I tried shooting from further away and cropping, but these pics still don't...

Glory Hole build on Protoboard - Tone and Vol not working

Do you have voltage on the rails on the right side of the board? I see them connected on the left, but I think you also need jumpers to get across the center gaps.

    Source for M12.7 x 1.0 hex nuts?

1mm thread on the metric gauge, or 26 on the imperial set. Have you tried these? https://www.taydaelectronics.com/hardware-tools/nuts-washers-screws-spacers-and-more/nuts/nut-12mm.html

Sproing Deluxe Distorting on Tremolo Side

See if you can bend your LDR away from the LED a little.

    Source for M12.7 x 1.0 hex nuts?

Wouldn’t the 1.0 on that data sheet be the thread pitch? I can pull out some thread gauges tomorrow and check some.

    PPCB Dark Rift

Sounds like you’re trying to measure your resistors while they’re soldered to the pcb. That doesn’t work. Like Jwin615 explained above, you want to verify the color codes.

    Arachnid V2

Looks like your FV1 is upside down. 🙃

    Where did I go wrong...

There’s a nice looking one to go off in case my explanation didn’t make sense. https://forum.pedalpcb.com/threads/storm-closed-circuit-booster-limiter.26842/

    Where did I go wrong...

Nope, you got them on the right sides at least! If you look at the holes where the ICs mount, there’s a square pad for pin 1. That’s the pin on the IC where the dot is. Those would need to get desoldered, do a 180 and go back in. The two pots at the edge of the board should be hanging off...

    Where did I go wrong...

Pretty confusing to look at with everything kinda upside down like that! If I’m looking at it right I think the pots and the ICs are both mounted to the board upside down for starters.

    Caesar (Walrus Julia)

That enclosure is slick AF. Graphic is great, and the font/ text layout is spot on. No bezel is the most sophisticated LED choice, and then the flat-top elevates it another step. Guts look great too!

Current Tayda fees after new tariff?

If you need to order three capacitors you forgot you needed, it might be cheaper at this point to order from a domestic supplier where you'll usually pay more for parts but less in shipping. If you need to order all of the parts for multiple pedal builds at once like I generally try to do with...

    Pedalpcb pastel

Looks awesome. I kinda like how the wrinkle looks like the bent corner of an old record or book jacket.
