Yes That jack is not compatible with pedal power. You’ll need a different one.

From your photos it looks like the red wire is connected to the center pin. Standard pedal power supplies use the center pin for ground. Even if you swapped the wires I don’t think that jack will work since it joins the outer sleeve to the enclosure. That would put 9v to the enclosure which is...

Is that jack set up for center positive instead of center negative? The correct center negative ones don’t normally have any metal contacting the enclosure.
