    Even more new Tayda colors!

How did it go btw, did it take 3 weeks? I would like to get a few matte blacks, but I guess I'll go with sand if it takes a very long time. Edit: Hmm, it almost makes it sound like it was an ordering thing and that it doesn't actually take three weeks to paint the pedals with that color? Very...

    Fuzzdog not shipping to US?

They do ship into the EU it seems, just not... Germany? Why Germany specifically, anyone know?

a RAT with extras sauce and another amp-in-a-box

I see. Those also match up for me just fine. The main part of the board does look similar in the relay version but the numbers are different, but at least the LED's are in a different spot. The relay part does sort of look like a daughterboard, or I thought so at first, but who knows. I'll...

a RAT with extras sauce and another amp-in-a-box

Yes, the doc I linked for the Lowrider has 15 resistors, while the first doc I checked (because obviously I went to the 125B folder first because I'm building it in a 125B) had 18 resistors. My board has 15 resistors. The other doc also included a relay and a photofet and whatnot. The actual...

a RAT with extras sauce and another amp-in-a-box

I was going to ask if you remembered what was wrong with the build docs, but it's very clear on a quick glance that the 125B build docs are for the "Top" version of the PCB with a relay and what not, while both you and me have the Standard version without those (and with less parts overall). I...

Help: Sunn Beta Preamp Mid-Freq Mod

Do you feel like the modification to be able to toggle between the version was worth the effort? Also curious about what @wildhog ended up doing and if it worked well.

    I agree, excellent knob choice!

Tayda drill template for PPCB parentheses or fornicus?

Have you verified it yet? Looks good to me at least.

    (FD) BRAIN BOMB

Thanks for checking! It's probably more of an issue for guitar, it can be pretty noticeable for me. I found some FSB (I think) thread with a partial schematic, and it seems R2 was 470k and 390k in parallel, so the end result would be more like 213k. Not sure if Fuzzdog made a mistake or traced a...

    (FD) BRAIN BOMB

Hey do you happen to remember how the blended clean signal was/is for you? For me it seems to boost and warm up the signal a bit too much, I wonder if I messed something up or if that's just something it does (or maybe 2N5088 tolerance could affect it)? The one time I don't socket the...

Toying around with a Red Snapper overdrive: ...do opAmps matter ? (spoiler: maybe yes)

Op amps have different specs, so it makes sense there can be audible differences. I think "it doesn't really matter which op amp you use" is more rooted in a "you won't hear the difference in a live setting or a recording" or "whatever op amp works in the circuit, in most cases". I would also...

    What's on the workbench?

I was going to argue that the Brita cake should help avoid the copyright, but it turns out that it's purely a Finnish name for it and comes from the name (of a person) Brita instead. Soooo probably not helpful. "Brita Cake Boost" also doesn't make much sense...

    Certain Pickups Overloading Fuzz

Wait, so it's not single coils alone, it's more like a strat position 2 or 4, so two humbucking single coils?

    Gravitation Reverb.. Take 2

Thanks for the tip, I switched C11 to a MLCC instead of electrolytic, and the pop dropped 20dB in a very simple measurement (just recording the pop to an interface). So a very good improvement! There's still a small click left, but not too bad.
